Slide guitar legend, singer/songwriter and classic country hitmaker Lee Roy Parnell returns to Pascagoula for the first time in three years. The critically acclaimed, Grammy Award nominee Parnell, a slide guitar virtuoso, was one of the top hitmakers in country music at one time. One of the top country music performers throughout the 1990’s and the first part of the 21st century, some of Parnell’s bigger radio hits included “What Kind of Fool do you think I am”, “Love without Mercy”, “On the Road” and “Holding my own” as well as “Tender Moments” and “A Little bit of you” among numerous others. He has charted more than 20 singles on the Top 40 country charts, including 7 top 10 hits.

Don’t dare miss Country Music Star Deana Carter in her first ever trip to Pascagoula! Her debut album, “Did I Shave My Legs For This?”is one of the most iconic country music albums ever and the album was co-produced by her. The record, which included the mega hit “Strawberry Wine”, was released to strong reviews in late summer 1996. By the end of the year, the record had climbed to the top of both the country and pop charts, quickly achieving multi-platinum status with three number one singles in a row including “We danced anyway” as well the title track plus “Wine”, a first for the genre. Deana’s celebrated debut album held this distinction and many ground breaking achievements for many years and has become one of Country Music’s most treasured classics.  She also co-wrote “You and Tequila” for Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter.
